A baby milks your breast much more efficiently than any pump. Also, pumping is an acquired skill, and it can be dependent on the type of pump you use. Some women (like me) who have abundant milk supplies are unable to get any milk when they pump. Pumps don't work on my boobies, I can get WAY more when I hand express..

Also it is very common and normal for the amount you pump to decrease over time..

You should get on the LLL website and see if they have a local number for someone in your area that might be able to help.

Make sure you take your vitamins too.. I take Omega 3-6-9 fish oils along with my prenatals and extra calcium... Omegas help eye and brain development.

You just started introducing more solids in his diet. That makes him eat less when he nurses which starts a downward cycle of supply vs demand.

Go on a baby moon. offer him the boob as MUCH as possible. Also, breastfeed him before and after solids. Solids at this age should only come if he definitely doesn't want the boob so offering the boob first makes sure solids are the food he wants.
