    Question not wanting to eat???

    Advertisements
so Lo has not been interested in eating. he's only eating about 20 ounces of formula a day, if that. he's doing pretty good on solids right now. but he's been back and forth with those for the last week too. i have been giving him water. but i'm worried he isn't getting enough fluid or nutrients. when i should i worry? he seems to peeing enough, but def not as much as normal. how can i get him to drink his formula?

i would imagine. but he's not been as fussy, so i don't think he's cutting any right now. he has 4 teeth so far. and he won't let me check out his gums.

Caleb didn't eat as much when he was teething - and he definitely does not let us look in his mouth

I wouldn't worry as long as he is peeing consistently and eating some. It hurts to suck on a bottle with those teeth coming in! Have you tried some orajel on his gums before a bottle??

i've tried everything...orajel, teething tablets, Tylenol, frozen grapes. frozen grapes(in a mesh teether) is one of his faves! but he gets mad when i take it and try to give him the bottle. silly boy. i guess i won't worry. thanks for easing my mind!

He will take the formula when he's really hungry.

Mine doesn't want to nurse lately either. She want to EAT! so I've been feeding her food for the last week, she's been eating like crazy. She'd just rather have real food.

But now she sleeps ALL THE TIME.. But I suppose her tummy is full.

DS did that too. He still does it for that matter. So long as he is peeing enough and pooing I wouldn't worry about it. Just isn't going through a growth spurt.

Carter goes through days at a time where he doesn't want to eat hardly at all. The doctor said as long he's having enough wet/dirty diapers its okay. I've accepted it as normal for him.

Part of it could also be that he is still adjusting to weaning. He might be re-thinking it now... lol.

When he gets hungry, he will eat.
