Help Since the nurse line is going take over an hour....

    Advertisements
Carter got 2 of his 4 months shots today, fussed when he got home, then took a long nap. He woke up like half an hour ago, happy as can be, and I noticed he has a rash on his neck.

He hasnt fussed, hes happy and giggling. I called the nurse line and they said the estimated call back time is 90 minutes.

Im not too concerned because he isnt fussy and nothing else is off besides the rash.

Should I be more worried? Should I just wait?

Im thinking just wait and see if it spreads, but Id really like a second opinion.

I hope he's okay. Hayden has never gotten a rash from getting shots, so I want to say it's a reaction.

So right before I called I washed his neck with a washcloth and just water. When she called she wanted me to check on it and see if it spread, and it was 10X better and not as blotchy or irritated looking.

She said it could be something irritating his skin, and the shots he got today dont have a rash as a side effect.

He is laughing at sesame street right now. I always jump the gun.

    Thanks everybody
