Big Grin This might actually work!!!

I just started reading "The No-Cry Sleep Solution" by Elizabeth Pantley yesterday and started using the stuff suggested tonight and I think it might actually work. I am so excited at the idea of a good nights sleep. I haven't slept a full 6 hour stretch since well before Bella was born.

The best part is that there is no crying involved. It may take a couple weeks but I will gladly take my time with this to keep her from having to CIO.

Well Share!!! I wish I had time to read yet another book. I'm still trying to read What to expect the first year and one about breastfeeding which I don't know if I should continue trying to read it since we are doing good in that department.
    Anyway... Share some tips!!!

The biggest thing is starting a routine and sticking to it. Then you gently get the baby used to falling asleep without sucking. Then, you slowly help them learn how to fall asleep on their own. It's a long process but well worth it IMO.

When you get the chance, you really should read it. The sleep plan is different for each family.

Thanks for sharing! I was planing on going to the library but it's been kinda gloomy out there.

I already have a routine with Giovanni's bed time and he was doing pretty good with the falling asleep on his own but since he is sick he's been very demanding, understandable

She also wrote a book called "The No-Cry Discipline Solution". I read it and it is a really good way to use gentle discipline. I know you are still a ways off from this but at least you can start preparing if you are looking for a gentle form of discipline
