Question Making your own baby food ?

    Advertisements
I'm going to be attempting to make some baby food tonight, and I was wondering what kind of veggies I have to use?? Fresh obviously would be a good choice, but I wanted to make him peas and we don't have fresh peas at my local store, could I do frozen and then refreeze?! I always thought this was a no-no but I read somewhere that you could, I just need some clarification on that point.... yes or no to refreezing?

I would do peas, green beans, squash, zucchini, maybe eggplant, carrots... veggies are wonderful! I would try to do fresh with as much as possible but we all now that doesn't always happen.

I've used dry peas and beans before! I just cook them according to the directions, then blend.
