    Question Spit up?

    Advertisements
It has been 3 hours since DS last ate. He just spit up some and it looks like spit up, but smells like throw up. Could it be because it's been 3 hours since he ate and it is spoiled now?

Jordyn does that every once in a while.. I don;t really think much of it, since she doesn;t have a temp and is usually fine afterwards (not fussy or anything).

Sometimes Carter does that if hes been doing tummy time or moving around a lot. If he isnt fussy or seem uncomfortable I wouldnt worry.

I'd imagine it smells because its been sitting in his stomach digesting for 3 hours. Unless its a lot, becomes frequent, he starts to dry heave or acts sick I wouldn't worry about it.

He seems perfectly fine. He has acid reflux. I just thought it was gross because it smelled bad.

He's probably fine. It was just partially digested which caused the smell. I'd only worry if there were other signs.

Molly spits up at random times now too but doesn't seem to care at all... and she is getting LESS fussy and still growing good

Matt still spits up and it will be random like that. Never a lot, just a little bit. Sometimes it is a few hours after he ate. I wouldn't be too concerned unless it's a lot or it starts happening frequently.
