That someone said you can use for teething?

He cut his first tooth yesterday and today is extremely Mr. Crankypants. Orajel isn't doing much and he's gnawing on everything he can get his mouth on.

I think that Brandi suggested it. Try it. Just watch when he breaks of pieces though. Plus, it is better to wait until they have tried wheat to make sure there is no allergies.

Yes, it was waffles. But just watch out from broken off pieces.. we didn't give them to Alexis until she was old enough for finger foods (she didn't teeth TOO bad) so it wasn't a problem. Now, she loves eating waffles, frozen or not. Good luck with Mr Crankypants!

Also, a frozen washcloth might help! Wet a corner of the cloth, and put it in the freezer. It freezes rather quickly, and he can hold the rest of the washcloth that isn't frozen!

Try the frozen washcloth. They also make a mesh feeder and we put small chilly pieces of food he's already had in it and he chomps on it like there's no tommorow. Try googling mesh feeder, but I think wal mart would have it.

Alec is doing the same thing but I've been really cautious about giving him any food type things. He really likes the frozen teething rings.

Yes, I don't have kids but I remember seeing this years ago and actually used it when I used to babysit. It works like a charm just watch him as it begins to thaw and he peices break off.

I used peeled cold carrots with DD. It seemed to help.
