We never had one. We did a booster seat and she still uses it to this day and she is 4. I never liked the idea of spending a lot of time in the highchair and they have these nooks and crannies to clean up trapped food and I'm basically a minimalist so we skipped it.

First "high chair" was daddy's legs:

We have the same as Marley. I thought the regular high chairs took up to much room & wanted the girls to be used to the table. They started around 6 months I think

That's a good idea!! Lol. Right now we are using his bumbo as a "high chair" Lol. It's not really working out well for us simply b/c I know abut the top over rate so the only time its used is when I am sitting directly in front of him and he's in the middle of the flipping table but better safe than sorry..

I love this high chair. It was so nice to move around the room and as he gets older he can eat with us too. It reclines to hold a baby too, and then moves on up to a booster seat. It was wayyyyyy less bulky than a normal high chair and I loved that it could grow with him. Plus it's so small, we took it travelling with us too. I think it was $40 or less. Since then, all three sets of grandparents have bought one for their house. It's awesome!

It's great. It's even portable so I've taken it out and about as well.

You can flip it and get a toddler size seat

Oh I love Carters high chair! It does take up a lot of room but I love it! It reclines for when theyre younger, and now I have it lower to the ground and he sits in it when we watch movies n stuff!! Off to find a pic...

Carters got this one but a different pattern- Not carter in the picture

I like it because if we have guests over we can just put it in the other room or something. I think regular high chairs are too big and bulky.

Somehow this seat turns into a booster too.

ETA- Its the same one Rileysmom has!
