    Crib bumpers?

    Do you use yours?

I took mine off because Carter would roll onto his side up against it and smother himself. I also started using sleep sacks again because I came in one night and he had turned himself completely around and his head was under the blanket facing the opposite direction. He turns himself around like that all the time. WEIRD.

I used it up until Ethan turned about 7 months and RIPPED a tie off. So I removed the bumper from the crib entirely, to prevent him from destroying the rest of it...

i used ours with our oldest son and i had to double knot the ties because he would untie them which worried me a lot. he would roll himself and turn himself around in his bed too but i didn't use the comforter that came with his crib set. i used a light blanket that i tucked around him. he would always be laying on top of it by the morning.

I used them with my older DS but not with the younger one. They didn't work for us. I hated them in the end. They were more for show.

I still use Bella's. She is not in her crib a lot though. She has never messed with them at all.

Bella does that too, but I've left it in there, maybe I should take it out too?

Giovanni hasn't mess with them either yet but he doesn't spend a lot of time in it either.

I took them off a while ago for the same reason. Matt would position his face between the mattress and the bumper.

We used them until DD destroyed them around 8 months old. But they worked for us because instead of sleeping long ways in the crib she has always slept from side to side (still does at 16 months) and it kept her from smacking her head on the rails at night.
