    Question Give away or keep?

    Advertisements
When they grow out of clothes, what do you do with them?

I am so torn. A friend of mine is having a girl soon, so I was going to give her Kylee's newborn size clothes since she's grown out of them. A few things she never even wore. But for some reason, everytime I go into her closet and look to see what I have so I can ask her if she wants them, I can't imagine giving them to anyone. It makes me want to cry.

Is anyone else like this? Or am I just crazy? I feel crazy.

I think I'll use this as my excuse for wanting to keep them. DH already thinks I'm insane enough, I don't need to add this to the list.

I kept most of their baby clothes. Once they got about a year old, I would only save my favorites and give the rest away.

We don't want any more. They go.

With our first, I kept only gender neutral clothes.

We keep almost everything because we are not done. When I did get pregnant with DD and found out she was a girl, I sold some of my ds baby clothes for money to buy her clothes. I did ebay and yard sales.

We still have everything, but we're also not sure we're done having kids. Plus we both have sisters who will have kids someday so if they want them they get first pick.

You're not crazy I feel the same way everytime I go through my little man's clothes. Up to this point I've been giving them to family who is out of work. I think if I did'nt give them to a family that needed them I would feel worse. I have, however kept a few onesies that I just cant part with.
