Question Secrets of the Baby Whisperer

    Advertisements
anyone read it? did you find it helpful?

my mom just got it for us and so far it seems very good and very "common sense".

Just wanted to know others' opinions.

What does it recommend? Since we co-sleep I have never read a book regarding baby sleeping. *I think the book is about sleeping, right?*

it's not exclusively about sleeping. it's generally an "understanding your baby" book. there is a chapter dedicated to sleeping, but it touches on all the major topics.

I read it just a little bit ago. I really wish I had had it when Bailey was a new born. She is beyond all help now I think. I hear she is coming out with a Toddler Whisperer too.

Brenda (polkadot) told me about her. There is a forum too. I bought the baby whisperer solves all your problems book but haven't even finished a chapter.

I read it and did not like it at all. I am very AP and it is not so AP friendly, IMO.

I haven't but it sounds good. Maybe I'll get it for the next baby. I never was able to differentiate between DD's cries (they all sounded the same to me) and unless it was a timing thing (like for eating), I usually had to do an educated guess what was wrong with her so maybe that book would help me with the next one.
