    Gassy tummy.... Gio's update

    Advertisements
I have received so much help and support here with Giovanni's gassy tummy and I wanted to give an update.

It's been about 3 weeks since I started this strict diet only eating lamb, turkey (both of those only fed by vegetarian diet) white rice, zucchini, squash, potato, sweet potato and pears. I've been able to use rice products such as rice milk, rice ice cream, puffed rice patties "cakes".
Anyway, it's been about 3 weeks and wow Giovanni's tummy has totally improved like TREMENDOUSLY. Thank God!!!! He is sleeping wonderful! Normally by 10pm he is asleep already, wakes up around 12-1am, 4am and then sleeps till 9-10am. Wakes up smiling everyday
I honestly did notice the improvement since I started this diet but yesterday we went to the Khaki ball and my mom was watching him and gave him breastmilk I had frozen from July so I wasn't doing the diet then and I ate normal food while at the ball. I thought, if his tummy is going to be mess up with the breastmilk he will be drinking I might as well just enjoy normal food (I didn't go crazy with the food though, I stayed with things that I thought would be kinda safe like chicken, potatoes, shrimp and I had a few bites of chocolate cheesecake!!!!!!!!!!! OH GOSH! that was YUMMM!! ) and to this time 1:15pm he hasn't have any bad gasses like before!!!!! He do have some but nothing like to not let him sleep or make him cry.

I'm sooooooo happy about this. I've honestly been enjoying my baby so much more now that I don't see him suffer. He seems so much happier too

Anyway, I just wanted to update and put this out there for maybe other moms that are going through the same with a very gassy baby It does get better, just hang in there and give your baby loooots of love

Thank you! I honestly think it's a mix of my diet and that his tummy is more mature now but at least I know he stopped suffering cause of my new diet
