    Suggestions needed!

    Advertisements
So I am starting to get in all of my cloth diapers I am going to have to start washing them, and start washing all the clothes and bedding. Any suggestions? I know only certain detergents are recomended for the diapers, but I have no clue on which one to get.

I use Arm and Hammer on my diapers. I use Baby magic on Kaia's and Kason's clothes.

I use the same detergent on EVERYTHING. Some detergents leave residue in the washer that get on your diapers anyway making it almost pointless to use a special detergent for diapers and for x clothes and for y clothes.

I personally think country save is great. I have no issues with it.

I can't use ALL at all..lol i'm allergic to it. Is the Arm and Hammer recommended for the diapers. I really don't want the residue, and what is country safe?? I will also either be using my parents washer/dryer, laundry mat, or the ones that are a community wash at my apartment. Until DF and I either build our house, or makes a decision on whether he wants to go back active.

Different diapers have different lists of what is recomended. I havent had a problem with residue with the Arm and HAmmer. Country Safe is usually recomended by most diaper makers. It is in powder form and the only place ihave been able to find it is in the commisary or online. I tried it but no matter how much i rinsed it still irritated my son bc of the powder.

People use everything on their diapers. I think it comes down to preference... I can't wait to buy some Jenny's Simply Clean... But I have used All, Arm and Hammer, Purex and Tide... I usually do a prewash with a tiny amount of Tide (I use AIOs a lot so helps with the stink and microfiber) and then I use some kind of Free and Clear for the main wash.

So I can still use tide then, and probably purex free and clear? I primarily use tide and gain. I'm sure though it is all going to come down to baby preference. Is it better to stick with liquid then powder? I feel like an idiot asking all these questions, but I really have no clue Thanks ladies for all the help I really appreciate it.

Depends on the diaper as well sometimes.

I use Shaklee already and it will work on my cloth diapers as well

On the powder issue that something that is a preference. We cant do any kind of powder. Ask as many questions as you want. You will get different ideas from different people, but most everyone is willing to help.
