Question 8 month old and grilled cheese

    Advertisements
I was about to make myself lunch and that's what I'm having so I was thinking about making two and cutting half of one into little pieces for him to eat. Everything I've read has said he can have cheese at this age but I'm unsure about the combo. It's whole grain white bread and american cheese. What do y'all think?

IMO, I say go for it, as long as he's not lactose intolerant!

Not true. YoBaby yogurt is geared for babies and toddlers.
It's whole milk, itself, that you may be thinking about?! Even with whole milk, DS's ped told me to begin the transition after he hit 11 months.

That's probably what I'm thinking. Didn't know that, when can you give a baby cheese or yogurt?

it's mostly milk they want you to stay away from because they can self wean and would stop taking BM or formula. It's either 7 or 8 months that they can have cheese. I gave Matt had a little taste of cheese last week when I was making a sandwich and he was fine. I'm giving him the grilled cheese now. He seems to like it. He keeps squishing them though. He's used to the puffs and yogurt melts that are hard in his hand.
