When do they have growth spurts?

I think Muffin might be having one. She usually won't eat more than every 3 1/2 - 4 hours, now she's suddenly eating every 2 1/2 hours and sleeping shorrter stretches at night b/c she wakes up earlier in the a.m. wanting to eat. Is this a typical timne for a growth spurt? Are those signs of one?

Sounds like a growth spurt to me. Generally, babies have growth spurts at 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months. But children have their own calendar so it could be around those time, give or take a week or 2. Good luck!

I have read and been told by doctors they have them 2-3weeks, then 6weeks, 3 months and 6 months.

Those could be signs, usually just increased hunger, eating much more often.. I remember DD took a few extra ounces and few extra bottles per day when she had her growth spurts, and more frequent night wakings like you said.
