    If you saw a baby...

    Advertisements
in a gender neutral carrier... wearing a blue striped outfit... with a burp cloth with dog bones on it... with a green and blue bib... blue pacifier... "manly" diaper bag... no bows or anything in the hair... and you didn't know for sure the baby was a boy or girl, which would you assume first?

Our waitress at lunch just went on and on about my cute "daughter" and how big "she" and how much "she" smiles etc. I know it can be hard to tell at 2.5 months, but come on... I thought it was funny, but I think it would've bugged DH.

    i would assume it's a boy.

but then again, our little girl will probably have more blue & green things than pink.
he was probably just so cute & beautiful that she associated it with being a "girl"

I would assume boy. Seriously. Girls can wear blue but dog bones and a manly diaper bag?!

When my cousin was a baby he had the most beautiful head of bright strawberry blonde hair with little curly whips at the end of his locks. We (the family) LOVED his hair and were devistated when my aunt cut it all off. But we understood why she did it because not matter WHAT she had him wearing, not matter how MANLY she dressed him people always called him a girl.

annnnndddd shiny dress shoes WITH BOWS!!!!
i guess if she had had bows in her hair or a headband that would have clinched it for her, but i guess because she was wearing red and black she just couldn't tell.

On 4th of July my little man was wearing a onesie that said "Mr. Amazing"...a man commented that it was going to be hot out and that I needed and umbrella for my little girl, after coming over to my stroller and looking at him.

I would assume boy. I have the same problem. My 9-month old son has a lot of hair, so much so that I have to put it up in a semi-ponytail on top. He wears mostly blues, greens and browns but people would still comment on how pretty my "daughter" is. I like seeing their expressions when I tell them that the long-haired baby is a male .

LOL!!!!!! When Ethan was younger people would mistake his for a girl. They'd say, "Awww...she's so cute! How old is she?!" I'd reply back with, "Thanks! He is x months old! He's growing so fast..."
