if you go in the baby food section they have baby cereal. I always get the gerber one. I used to mix Matt's with formula, you can do breastmilk if you're breastfeeding, since the cereal is so bland. Now that he on baby food I put so pureed fruits in their.

ETA this is what I get

I guess. Are you looking to go the natural route?

I've been giving my son Gerber cereal. The very first time I think it's 2 tablespoons of cereal with 5 tablespoons of formula. The mixture is on the box. I also follow the other directions on the box, he's now up to 1/4 cup of cereal with enough formula to make it smooth.

I mix 2 tbsp. of cereal into 20oz of formula and put it in her bottles and we use medium flow nipples.

But I've heard that they make cereal nipples for bottles.

I was told not to put it in DD's bottles. So I didn't. I spoon fed it to her.

You're def. not suppose to (unless recommended by your ped for reflux) it's a huge choking hazard, can lead to over-eating among many other things.
