    Help He gave him peach

    Advertisements
My 2 month old baby just had peach. I walked in the room right as DH was putting a mushed up bit in his mouth IDIOT. This reminds me of the time he gave his grandparents dog a breath strip.

Carter is seeming fine, he is happy and not cranky at all. Hes not spitting up he doesnt have a rash, he seems okay. He actually seemed to like the peach.

Should I call the doctor? Is this okay?

    My husbands an idiot.

I would think its ok...as long as he's not breathing funny or choking. Check him for rashes regularly. But I'd think he'd be ok

He'll be fine. No need to call the doctor, no need to freak out on your DH.

I guess it's because I'm not a mom yet, but why is that bad? Just because they could be allergic to it or something? How else would you find out about an allergy though if that is the reason?

B/c he is only 2 months old. You are not supposed to start anything besides breast milk or formula til at least 4 months and now they recommend waiting til 6 months

hell we gave Zoey tastes of everything soft and mushy at that age. Never a lot, but she always got a taste of stuff....

He'll be fine...no need for the docs unless an allergic reaction is present which it doesn't sound like there is....he liked it bc it was sweet and it seems like your dh mashed it up for him...No reason to be overly upset...Just remind dh that the doc doesn't want him to eat anything besides bm or formula until at least 4 months...

My DR said they try to stress not to give babies certain things till 12 months and they don't want you testing what they could be allergic to so young.
I would have freaked out a bit as well but then again that's what happens with number one, you know nothing and learn a lot.

Like the others said I would just watch for rashes.

I'm so worried about my DH, he knows NOTHING and he's so clueless about babies.
