Your baby can read or Baby Einstein

Your baby can read, have you done it? Did you like it? Did your baby actually find it interesting? Tell me all you know about it.

What about baby Einstein? I feel like it might be a waste but then again I dont really know.

If the tv is on Carter is always staring at it , so I figured I should put something educational on instead of lifetime

DH has a lot of friends whose wives did your baby can read with their kids and they said that it really worked. I haven't tried it.

We loved Baby Einstein for DD.. if you're wondering about trying them out, try the local library.. you may be able to "rent" them there for free. Or check ebay/half.com you should be able to find them cheap.

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot
    and thatís all I need

Baby Einstein was a lifesaver when I NEEDED to get something done that couldn't wait. I could put her down for tummy time, pop a DVD in and take care of business (phone calls/pay bills/do a load of dishes, or put some laundry in) and then come back and watch it with her.

Baby Neptune (all about water) was her absolute favorite one. I got them for her when she was around 4 months old for Christmas.

Here's what half.com has listed in their DVD section for Baby Einstein..:

i've heard both ends of it, either parents love it or they think it's the biggest waste. but there's no harm in trying teach him to do stuff OTHER than act like a man
