    Question How many ounces?

    Advertisements
Hayden now finishes 3 - 3 1/2 ounce bottles and I am wondering if he should be eating more. Sometimes he acts like he may want a little more. His pediatrician said by a month old, most babies are drinking 4 ounces. Should I try 4 ounces and see how he does with it? I just don't want to over feed him and have him spit up or anything.

If he is finishing it and seams like he wants more, add more

At that age Carter was eating about that amount. Try offering more if he seems like he wants it. If he ends up overeating and spitting a bunch up, then stick to 3 oz for now.

I gave him 4 ounces last time he ate around noon and he ate every bit of it slowly, but he didn't spit up or anything.
