    Tummy time update

    Advertisements
so we have gotten over the screaming when we start tummy time and we are tolerating it a whole lot more we can go up to 5 mins or so before we have to do something else

still not holding the head up like he should mainly he stares at the ground and grunts or drools or has his head to the left and up a tad bit

he won't turn his head the other direction though

but when he is perched on my tummy or on my shoulder he holds his head up and turns it both directions like he should be doing when on the floor on his tummy

plus we are alternating what end of the crib he sleeps in

any other ideas or words of wisdom?

It sounds like you are doing great as he gets stronger he will be able to tolerate it more.

IDK if you guys are in the car a lot but if you are, Ive been turning Carters head to the other side in the carseat to help his flat spot too.

sounds like you are doing great momma! Matt still is not too fond of being on his tummy but it's much better when they can roll over on there own. If they are discontent they can flip themselves over.

i just didn't know if it was normal for him not to be turning his head back and forth while on the floor

and no we are not in the car very often but when we are i am going to try that

i have kinda been massaging his neck muscles and that helps with the lifting the head and turning it
