    Still bleeding

    Advertisements
Grrr! I started bleeding a little after my 6 week checkup and pap smear on Tuesday. no big deal right? normal, right? Well, I've had a pap smear once a year for the last 7 years and never still been bleeding 5 days later. If I'm still bleeding Monday morning I'll call the doc. I just want to be back to normal..

    are you BF'ing?

I did not and got my period about a week after my post partum bleeding stopped. I was less than thrilled. Maybe it coincided with the pap since they were messing with your cervix. Definitely get checked out though!

it got heavier after we yeserday morning though. until then it had just been more brown-ish, now it's red and heavier. I dunno. I don't see how it could be AF, I haven't had any symptoms.

Some women, even while BF, get thier periods around that time. I would just keep that in mind.

Could be AF, could be irritation because of the exam, could be residual bleeding from delivery. Hope it stops tho'. After months of no bleeding, then tons of post delivery bleeding...it's never any fun.

I wouldn't worry too much but i'd still bring it up.

Just remember that a lot of things went down in that area and it is going to take time. I know it sucks to wait though.
