if you are going tanning i would ask for an extra pair of eye stickies to cover your nipples, i cant imagine them being burnt and bfing

we went walking downtown last weekend and it was super sunny, so i just put him in a carrier on my chest with a hugeeee bucket hat with flaps around his neck so the sun stayed off of him.

I am not sure how old your baby is but I would imagine as long as he has sunscreen the pool would be fine for him. Bella and I will start going to the pool very soon. I am going to get her one of the waterproof hats from BRU and lots of sunscreen. I cant keep the older kids in all summer b/c she is a baby and I cant let them go to the pool alone.

As for tanning, I have been tanning and havent had any problems BFing.

I was just hoping that a tanning bed wouldn't dry me up or anything (i know stupid) but hey i just don't know and don't want to do anything to mess us up

with it being so hot outside i don't want to risk taking him out there cause he gets sweaty and all the sunscreen i have found is for 6 months or older and we are no where near that age

and even in his stroller/carseat covered up it is way to hot and there is no shade but i am scoping out the pool that does have a covered area so i may check it out if i can find some sunscreen that would be ok to use on him and only be out there for 5-10 mins
