Who here makes burp clothes?

I know I saw that someone made their own burp clothes. I was wondring if you can share a pattern and some more pictures.

They look easy enough for me to try, so i want to give it a go.

I made my own - they're SO easy. I don't have a pattern though - I drew the right shape (a little big to allow for the seam) on a piece of cardboard, cut it out and traced around it then cut fabric. I made mine out of flannel. My MIL made me some first and then I just made more when they wore out.

I don't have a picture of just the burp cloths but here's a pic of DD on my mom's shoulder and she had one They're shaped kind've like and hourglass but not so extreme


She was so tiny!!!

It's super easy, and you can just find a flannel that you like and buy a half a yard and make a few I suggest the flannel because it absorbs better than a tighter woven cotton would

I made my own too..I used the lighter cotton..I'll go through ds baby pictures to see if i can find any pictures of them. I made my own pattern just like Becca..I just drew mine on a paper bag and cut them out...some I even just free hand cut so I had some different sizes. they are very easy to make just cut the material and make a boarder on it...

ok so when you sew the two sides together, how do you turn it right side out and close the last bit of hole?

I didn't sew 2 sides together just cut the material and sew a hem all the way around it.

These are two I made that I have pictures of, I posted a pattern awhile back, I'm sure you can search my posts/threads and find it. I sewed them inside out, and left a small hole to turn them right side in and finished the rest by hand. I used flannel as well.
