My friend made all her children's baby food. She found that it was a little cheaper than buying it, too. I plan to make baby food for my kids if/when I have them!

Do you do butternut squash? (cut in half, face down in water and baked in the oven). That is Zayne's favorite

I'm excited to make DD's food too! At what age did you start?

That's what he's having tonight. I just got done pureeing it. I steamed it on the stovetop. I'll let you know how he likes it

We started about 3 weeks ago - he was a week shy of 4 months old. I try to give him 2 small 'food' meals consisting of about a tablespoon of oatmeal and a tablespoon of a fruit or veggie.

awww...I love making my babies food for them. We are thinking about starting Katie in the next couple of weeks. We are going to start out with bananas and then avocado. Neither have to be cooked or anything. Just smashed up!
