    Tummy Sleeping?

    Advertisements
I know that they say you are NOT supposed to let babies sleep on their stomachs at all. Now that Peanut is getting more tummy time I am finding that she falls asleep during tummy time. If I turn her over or on her side, she wakes up.

Is it really a problem for her to sleep on her tummy for naps if I am watching her? Just looking for your opinions and real life anecdotes please. I know there is a lot of research out there on SIDS.

I would like to be with my for a while but thats what made me so tired in the first place!

all my kids slept on their tummies. they are all still alive today. I would do whatever is best for you and peanut. she probably sleeps better and longer when sleeping on her tummy.

I let my son sleep on his tummy once in awhile. He liked it better and still does today.

Zoey has been on her tummy to sleep since the moment I had her. I tried making her sleep on her back, and she would sleep for like, 10 mins. Once I put her on her tummy she slept a couple hours at a time....

No one is guaranteed happiness. You can pursue it, but if you happen to find success along the way on that road to happiness, Conservatives believe you should not be demonized or penalized for it.

I let molly sleep on her stomach. She is healthy and I was always RIGHT THERE with her. She wouldn't sleep otherwise. Now she will only sleep on her side and fall to her back while she sleeps.

They used to say to put your baby on their stomach and not their back. you know your baby best.

DD loves to sleep on her tummy. But I'm always near when she is on her tummy.
