    I'm Pretty Sure I'm A Bad Mom

I was given the option of going home early, and I said "no, I'd rather stay at work".

    Why?

Because lil' bebe is in daycare.

If I went home early then I would have to go pick her up. And I am already getting a 3 day weekend with her.

You're not a bad mom. Moms need adult time too. Don't beat yourself up- being a parent is the hardest job in the world.

You aren't a bad mom! I would do the same thing if DD was in daycare. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Your not a bad mom everymom needs a break. My ex-DF told me I was a sh*ty mom because I wanted him to watch her while I took a nap or shower.

Nope, not a bad mom. I love my babies to DEATH and when I go back to school I love my time away from being "mom". Every mommy needs a break.

Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.

And that is probably one of the reasons why he is your ex.

You may be a mom.. but you're also an adult who needs free time. With DH being away I'm sure it can get extremely overwhelming.

It's not like I really need a break... I work a 7:30-4:30 job every day.

I dunno. It's almost like I don't want to be around her for a while... I mean, at work, I can do what I want, I can eat when my food is hot...

I think that it's just starting to get to me that I'm her sole person to rely on when we're home.
