BFing was fine for the first six weeks. But once he hit that growth spurt, I just couldn't take it. Plus he always had difficulty latching and I was sick of having to use a nipple shield all the time so he's on a bottle.

I mostly breastfeed DS, but sometimes he gets pumped breastmilk or formula in a bottle. He got formula before my milk came in b/c he was so hungry in the hospital. I don't mind him taking a bottle b/c I like for other people like DH and my mom to be able to feed him sometimes. Plus, I will be going back to work when he is 4 months old, so he will have to take a bottle then... I'd rather him be used to going back and forth from breast to bottle from the beginning than have to switch things up on him at 4 months.

i tried to breastfeed, but my milk didnt come until after she was 2 weeks old, plus she had a really hard time latching. turned out she has a lactose intolerance so she is formula fed.
