Do you get up in the night

when they wake up? Like get out of bed?

T was laughing at me the other day because I have everything right next to the bed so when she wakes up I don't have to get up for anything.

I've got her dipes, wipes, hanging wet bag, burp cloth.

I just roll over and pick her up if she's asleep in the bassinet, feed/change and go back to sleep without ever leaving the comfort of bed.

on 2nd thought maybe I'm just lazy

I never did. I did the same exact thing you do. I had a stack of probably 5-6 diapers, a pack of wipes, an extra paci, an extra blanket, an extra outfit (for middle of the night blow out or something), a glass of water for me, extra nursing pads.... and it was ALL stacked right there next to the bassinet which was attached to our bed. SO much easier

I do the exact same thing! My youngest DD is going to be 5 months old tomorrow, but I still have her in the bassinet in our room for just that reason... She tends to wake up between 5 and 5:30 every morning (and sometimes once during the night depending on when she fell asleep), and that's just FAR too early for me to get out of bed. So I roll to the edge of the bed, pick her up out of the bassinet, grab a diaper from underneath, wipes from on top of the diaper genie thing, change her, grab a bottle (which already has the water measured out in it), scoop the formula into it, snuggle up with her, pop the bottle in her mouth, and go back to sleep until she's up for good around 7. It works pretty well for me, and I never even have to stand up!

I will do what God asks me to do; I will give God what I cannot do; and no matter what, I will trust the Lord.

Sounds like a plan for me!
DH forbids co-sleeping so I guess I will have to lean over and get him from the bassinet by the bed while he is still in here and then I will be the same way. Why get up when we don't have to right?

I wish. Dawson is wide awake when he wakes up in the middle of the night. I've really tried to reduce stimulating him through lights and such but he is still wide awake and refuses to be put down for at least a good hour. I usually end up watching zombie tv on mute while I wait for him to nod off. Or while i nod off. Sometimes I wake up and he's just staring at me like "hey ma! you're supposed to be watching me!"
