    Swine flu and your baby?

    Poll coming...

Are you worried? Are you going to change anything? I think living on a border town I am definitely going to keep DD in more. We will still go on our daily park walks but no more mall or grocery store for us. Any thoughts?

we hardly go out at all. i HAVE to go to the store and HAVE to take her so i cant change my behavior.

i dont have many friends so im not worried about catching it from them, but i do go to school, however, i am constantly dipping my hands in sanitized water (washing dishes in the kitchen) while im there so they're clean

I am a little paranoid and my ds is so young, that I wouldnt take him out much unless I absolutely have to, but then again that was my opinion before the swine flu even hit, bc I am a big time believer in keeping them in for the first few weeks, just to prevent them from getting really nasty sicknesses while they are so vulnerable.

DD and I have been going out more and more. I was trying to get her tolerance up before we fly to go see DH in a couple weeks but now I am very worried about her getting sick I think its probably a new mom thing too, I treat her like she's made of glass sometimes

I'm always worried about my kids, but no more than them catching anything else.

I'm worried about it but I don't think I'm going to put her in a bubble because of it. Actually my pedi told me keeping her inside all the time and not around other people actually weakens her immune system and once she does get exposed to people other then Dh and I she's going to be sick all the time .. It's like your damn if you do damned if ya dont
