he does not want to eat today. he ate good this morning and that has been it. but he is trying to eat anything he can get into his mouth...toys, blanket, burp cloth, hands, etc... so whats the deal? he was eating like a pig. and today he just isn't interested. he eats for a second then starts talking to me and trying to wiggle away? any insight on this would be great!!! is it his 3 month growth spurt maybe???

More than likely he just finished a growth spurt if he doesn't want to eat. He is also probably noticing more things around him and they grab his attention more than the food. Don't worry, he will be ok if he doesn't eat as much and he will adjust.

ETA: If he is chewing on things he could be starting his teething. My son had his first tooth at 3 months.

I agree with Lauran. Teething can cause the ears to hurt when they swallow.
