    Smile Breastfeeding moms: How long

Just wondering how long people are planning to breast feed?
I plan to for at least a year, but I may go longer.

I'll stop when he's ready to stop. My cut off is 3 or 4 years old though.

Ok, so I know I am not a new mom, but I breastfed my girls (now 5 and 2) until they were 16 months old. And my 2 year old would probably still be nursing if I would've let her .

DD is 8 mths, I was planning on weaning her at 1yr, but I may have trouble, She won't take anything from a bottle or cup except BM, not even eater or formula.

I did for a year, until she self-weaned. I sobbed when she stopped. Seriosly, DH thought someone died. He had been gone for a month and came back like 2 days after she stopped and couldn't figure out what was wrong with me!

I let my girls self-wean. Zoe stopped a couple of weeks after her 1st birthday. Kaia is still going strong at 6 months, no supplementing with either girls as well.
