    Help Tummy trouble

    Advertisements
Everytime I feed Dawson about 5 minutes later he goes into a mini screaming fit and gets very uncomfortable. I know it is very common for newborns to have problems with gas, but is it at EVERY feeding? i don't think he's constipated because he has very regular bm.

I've tried Milicon which seems to help a little, but i'm just curious if it could be my milk or something?

It might be what you are eating that is making his tummy hurt! When K was little, I had to stay away from certain foods so that he wouldn't get a tummy ache.

i thought about that but i really haven't eaten anything crazy. in fact, i've barely had an appetite since my c-section. and i haven't been eating the same thing everyday to warrant it at every feeding.

i'm just curious because both my husband and I had problems as babies with what we ate. We both ended up being on special formula, not sure what he was on but I know I had to have soy.

That's what happened with my little man, I tried breastfeeding but he just wouldn't take but I just pumped instead, he was still having problems so we tried regular formula and still nothing worked so the doctor told us to try putting him on soy and that's what he's been using ever since.

Talk to his dr. See what they say. It's so hard to tell when they are so small! I hope that he gets better though!

Isaac can't have caffene, onions, soda, carbonation, over load of milk, beans, broccoli, cauliflower.

Start getting rid of the gassy foods. Stuff like that can really hurt baby.
