we arent having a very good day.

ellie has been crying non stop for 2 hours. i can tell she is in pain. we've been outside, bounced up and down, ran water.. she's just not happy.

she hasnt burped well since last night and has some extreme gas.

well i just gave her gripe water and a few minutes later some drool/spit up kind of stuff just came pouring out we have never tried it before so i dont know if its normal for them to spit up afterward. what is your experience?

Have you tried mylicon drops? I never did the gripe water (the drug store was out the one time I could get there) so I am not sure about the spit up thing but I know the gas drops helped DS.

Kaitlyn pretty much lived on gripe water for her first few months when we had so much trouble with reflux and gas but I've never had her spit it back up. Hope she's feeling better though.

awe poor kiddo...sounds like an upset tummy....the gripe water has ginger in it I think which helps calm tummys so that's probably what it is doing and she needs to get out what ever is upsetting it....If she seems in pain though you may want to call the doc...

oh wow i decided to try gas drops since it had been a while since the gripe water didnt do anything and within a minute she let out two big toots and the crying subsided, but then started again so im positive its a belly ache

    my baby sounds so terrible!

    thanks everyone

Sounds like an upset tummy to me.. If it continues, or interferes with her normal eating, I'd call the doc.
