    after baby period ?

    Advertisements
So, I'm exclusively BF (he won't take a bottle - goober!). Last month, I got my period. THis month... nothing.

Is this normal? I should have gotten it by now if I'm back on my period (right?).

    Ugh... help!

It can take some time before your period will be completely regular again. Are you on any bc?

It's totally normal for your period cycle to be off for several months after having a baby. Your body will be adjusting for a long time. Your hormones have been forever changed. Birth control helps to regulate things but it's no guarantee. Just be patient, things will find a normal cycle again.

Breastfeeding will throw off your period. I formula fed and even my period is a little weird still.

I breast feed and with my first I didn't have a PP period until he was 10 mo old and I didn't get another one until he was 13mo old (then I got PG with DD) With my daughter I got one when she was 16 mo old, and have yet to get another one. (she is 18 months old now)

Nothing is really normal while you are BF IMO, If you are starting more solids, and slowing down on BFing you might get it back again, but then say your DC starts cluster feeding it could hinder you from getting your period again.

After each of my births my cycle was messed up. I could go months without one but spot for one or two days in between.
