Question Good age to go outside

    Advertisements
I'm wanting to start trying to get back in shape soon so I was going to start with walking but I wanted to wait until Matt's old enough to be outside in his stroller. But when is a good age for him to be going out?

I had Ava out and about the day after I got home from the hospital and started going on walks then. DH was deployed so if I wanted out of the house or something had to get done, she had to go with. I guess it also depends on the weather. She was born in January, but we lived in Florida so it was always a decent temperature.

As long as it isn't too hot or too cold outside, I'd say take as many walks as you want outside!!!!!

Take walks as soon as you want too, but you shouoldn't start :"getting back in shape" like gym style until after your 6 week check up. your body needs time to heal and shrink back down. don't push it, You were beautiful before and you'll be beauftiful after

okay, well then I guess we'll start going out then. It's been really pretty weather here so I think it's actually the perfect temperature to have a baby out.

i believe we waited until 2 months to take him outside for extended periods of time but that's because we live in ft. walton beach, fl and it was may when we had him...so temps were def. in the high 90's/low 100's. it was just ridiculously hot to have him out and it be comfortable for him.
