    Question Storing milk question

    Advertisements
So I was at walmart today and I didn't know if I was suppose to get both the milk storage bags, and the storage bottles, or just get one or the other...I spent 30 minutes looking at both and couldn't decide so i ended up leaving with neither of them..

What kind of bottles will you be using?!? If you'll be using Playtex Nursers, the bags make it more convenient for feedings.

You can also pump into Drop Ins and store them that way with the covers on it. I did that if I was planning to feed my son within a 24 hour period, because I just stored the bottle with the drop-in in the fridge.

Playtex dropins have a one step storage system http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=8145135 It has an attachment for the pump, so you can pump straight into them and refridgerate and freeze them. Then you just buy the extra tube/bag things to pump right into. I love it and then when you do feed, the ring part connects right on the bottle

If you like I can see if I can find any here, I got like 3 started kits when I had YDS, I don't still have the box cause i used the tuby things, but I am pretty sure I have some attachments and they are all steralized.

I do prefer the Playtex Nurser System. Less items to sterilize!

    By drop-ins, I mean the liners/bags.

Right now I just have the regular Dr. Browns 4 oz bottles, and also the advent bottles. I guess I should go get the playtex nursers perhaps. Thanks for the reply.

The drop-in liners are the refills....
You'd need to purchase the system first. Target and Walmart also sell the generic liners. Same things, just less expensive.
