    CD mama's - Detergent Question

    Advertisements
What detergent do you recommend for washing them?

Do you prefer to hang dry them or just chuck 'em in the dryer?

i recommend tide free if you don't want to get something "special" like an all natural. look for fragrance free and dye free ideally

i just chuck them in the dryer but if you are planning on using them for more than 2 kids you should hang dry more than dryer and do NOT use a dryer sheet in there with them

We use the all free and clear you get at the commissary (the bottle is like blue camo) or we use biokleen when we get to the natural foods store.

I use the dryer most of the time. I'll occasionally line dry.

I use Tide free & clear, but my MIL uses Melaleuca. I would use Melaleuca, but from what i understand you have to buy like a minimum of $50/mo worth of products & I dont need that much stuff, all i really like is the detergent anyways (plus its a bit pricey $13 for a small bottle & $18 for a large bottle). I usually use the dryer, very rarely do i line dry.

Dreft, and if the temp is over 50, I hang everything on the line to dry.

I use all free and clear. I miss line drying, but don't have a line out here.

I've heard good things about that All but our commies don't sell it since the uniforms worn by the Navy and Corps don't need it

The one on 32nd st used to sell it (all free and clear in the white bottle). Its the only laundry soap I use. I plan on using it to wash diapers.
