Question Is my kid weird or something?

I keep seeing the phrase "They don't sleep the night because I am breastfeeding." I exclusively breastfeeding and Zayne sleeps a good 7 hours at night usually. Is he abnormal?

I'd say your baby is a blessing!!

Every child is different. My oldest son was exclusively breastfed and started sleeping through the nights by 7 weeks. My younger son was 13 months before he consistantly slept all night, though he wasn't breastfed. My daughter was 4 months old when she started sleeping all night, and she was only breastfed for the first 6 weeks.

Zayne has been sleeping the night for over a month now I have no secret. He just started sleeping longer all of the sudden He is still in our room in the bedside co-sleeper, so that might help, but I don't know.

All of mine have started sleeping good 6-8 hr stretches by 7-8 weeks and were breastfed. I am ready for Bella to start. She has a 5 hr stretch early on, so hopefully, it keeps getting longer.....

Miss K was breastfed and slept through the night very early on too.
