I've been wondering, ok...I feel stupid for asking but anyway:

I breastfed my DD. It was a great wonderful feeling, and it was a nice way to bond. Im a little worried about if I have a boy though. Is it the same feeling? Or is it a little wierd to breast feed a boy, not so much when they are newborns, but when they are older? I feel dumb but I can't help thinking that in some way I might not feel as comfortable with it as I did with my DD. I nursed her for 11 months, when she weaned herself, and want to go as long as this baby wants (up to the first birthday hopefully) .

i don't know. i thought about that too esp. since sometimes i get a bit of a physical reaction (which is normal) when nursing esp if dd is doing the whole sweet rubbing my arm or whatever. dd is going to be 11 months this month

Im breastfeeding my son and hes 6 months old, i can totally see where your coming from, me personally i havent felt weird about it but i see that question being normal and even if you do feel weird about it i think that would be normal as well as long as it wasnt bothering you in a massive way you may just have to make yoruself not think about about it in that way if you really want to nurse him.

Years ago I would have never believed i would be in love with two men at the same time, Like father like son

I BF both my son and my daughter. It made no difference to me.

I dont think its weird. I BF my son until he was almost 2. Its different because its your child.

thanks. I got ya. I guess that cool, "I made food for my child" feeling kind of takes over and it makes he rest go away.

We had a son first and I bf'ed him for almost 18 months. I can say that I dont remember ever weirded out feeding him. I was not showing my son my boobs but feeding my baby.

I have all boys. I'm BF'ing my 2 1/2 month old right now. Nothing about it weirds me out. I'm feeding him, it's nothing sexual, so it doesn't feel strange. My other boys see me BF all of the time so they see my breasts and it doens't bother me because they know I'm feeding their brother.
