    sad--nursing issue

    Advertisements
So dd has more or less cut down nursing during the day to only 3 or 4 times during the day. she prefers real food to nursing. it's heartbreaking for me. i miss the frequent nursing. she still nurses quite a bit at night (every 4 hours at the most at night) but i miss the daytime feedings. she would rather play than nurse

I'm sorry Jill. I know it is bittersweet to have them grow and become more independent.
    Needs work.

yeah it's kind of nice because we are going to be trying to night wean her at 12 months and doing just one big bedtime nurse and any daytime nursing she wants it'll be nice to have dh play a more active bedtime role though

i'm kind of hoping it's a bit of a phase but at the same time i'm not going to be overly broken up if she starts to wean herself. the teeth are really starting to hurt me. i'm sticking it out to a year. she's been tapering down for a good bit now (since she got top teeth in)

That's a great attitude to have.

I guess it is time for a new baby!

As they get older it is normal for that to happen. I remember "trying" to bf trent and all he did was push me away wanting daddys food.
