I know that Steph* did it for a little bit.

I would call the LC and ask them. Good luck though! I hope it works for you.

They did when I was there, but that was a while ago. Try calling the BJACH and talking to an OB nurse to see if they can point you in the right direction

I got pregnant with ds #2 when ds#1 was 12 months old and he was still nursing quite frequently. He weaned himself when he was 15 months, but I think it's because my milk completely changed. I mean it was always kinda gooey looking after I got pregnant so I cant imagine that would taste too good lol. Since your baby is still an infant, I would suggest eating WHATEVER you feel like as long as it's a healthy food. LIke seriously if you want to eat all day long, go for it. just make sure you're eating nutrient rich foods with high GOOD fat calories and calcium/protein/complex carbs/vitamins. and dont forget your prenatal vitamins either! and LOTS OF MILK! other than that i would definitely go to www.llli.org and find an LC at a nearby birth center or hospital.
    good luck and

I nursed my older son throughout my whole pregnancy and he didn't wean until my younger son was 8 months (he was 28 months). You should definitely make sure to get plenty of healthy calories, around 300 extra for both the nursling and the baby. And a ton of water. It can take a lot out of you if you don't take really good care of diet and nutrition. It seems to be common for babies to wean about half way through a pregnancy because of the changes in the breast milk.

There is a book called Adventures in Tandem Nursing that is really informative. I can try and answer any other questions if you have them!

    Thank you!!

I just want to make sure I'm taking good care of all 3 of us... how many calories a day should I be eating? How much water? Is there anything I need to watch out for?
