    Question Letdown/Nursing time Question

    Advertisements
So, I'm having some crazy letdown... I'll just pour. There are times Zayne will only nurse 3 - 5 minutes and not want anything to do with nursing anymore, no matter how hard I try. With the letdown I'm having can he be getting plenty in that amount of time?

Ellie to this day will still only eat 3-5 mins at a time on the boob. And only one boob at a time. It was frustrating because, I was feeding her every 2 hours or even more often... She just liked to snack. She was always gaining weight, making beyond enough wet/dirty diapers... she was just a snacker and I had very fatty BM. LOL

Yea, she didn't always eat super often but there were times where she'd nurse 3 minutes... sleep 30... nurse 3 minutes, sleep 4 hours... nurse 3 minutes.... play 10 mins... nurse 2 minutes.... I was always soaked from the letdown

I pour just like that as well when I am nursing. He is getting plenty indeed! Be sure not to waste that milk though! Hook up your breast pump and take advantage and bag it for future use! The times I didn't have my breastpump with me with the other two I would literally have to fold up a receiving blanket to as thick as possible and put it inside the cup of the breast they weren't feeding on and it would soak right through. Breast pads were a joke!
    Needs work.
