    Help breast feeding mama's

    Couple of questions:

    1) When did you start to introduce baby foods/cereals?

    2) Did/does your baby go a couple days between bowel movements, and is their bowel solid or still kind of mushy/runny?

No one is guaranteed happiness. You can pursue it, but if you happen to find success along the way on that road to happiness, Conservatives believe you should not be demonized or penalized for it.

    3 months

and yes, a day or two without a bowel movement is normal for breas fed babies, but It is a good idea to check in with your pediatrician if they baby goes 3days to a week without one.

    1) We started solids about 6-7 months and we skipped cereal

    2) BM BM (breastmilk bowl movements) wont be as solid as FF or without solid food introduce. As so babies can do days with a bowl movement.

6 months, we skipped cereal with our youngest, because of my oldest's food allergies

BFed babies can go between 5-10 days without a BM.

We introduced solid foods/cereals at 3.5 months.

His bowel movements vary depending on what he's eating mainly depends on the moisture content and how much water he drinks.

ETA: He used to go 5-7 days without a bowel movement, now with solid foods it's several a day.

6 months (AAP and WHO recommend all babies be exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months of life) but at that point we didnt do baby food/cereal, we did baby-led solids. He just started eating whole foods (banana, apple, etc) according to his readiness and he was the one to put the food in his own mouth. They dont really eat at first, they just taste, gag, lick, spit out, but very soon they start eating EVERYTHING and doing an awesome job.

yes. I find that his bm pattern isn't realy a pattern, it changes on a regular basis. basically what he east will change his bm's. he eats lots of fiber, he has more regular (and messy!) bm's. he eats lots of dairy or iron, and he goes a couple days then has a firmer bm. when he FIRST started on solids (not baby food) he had the regular breastmilk runny poop with little bits of whatever food he had eaten.
