    Bf'ing and spit up

How much did your baby spit up? Cristian just started spitting up this week. Sometimes he just won't burp and then it seems to happen. This morning I think he spit up his whole meal.

Trent never really spit up a lot. He did a power puke one time but that was it. What you are eating? Dairy might be effecting his stomach and causing the spit up.

I don't eat too much dairy. Just milk on my cereal and some cheese. We go to the ped this morning so I'll check with them. I was just curious.

Also keep in mind, that baby spit up always looks like they spit up a lot more than they really did.

almost all babies spit up some.. its when you have alot of spit up and its after every feeding, even in between... you have to worry.

as Jill said, try to eliminate dairy to see if thats the problem, also garlic, onions & other spicy foods effect little tummies.

try to sit him up at a 45 degree angle for atleast 10 min after he eats, burp him frequently and feed for less amount of time, more frequently - those are all things that they asked me to do with DD before they gave her zantac.

DD did a lot. I took her to the doc and they said Reflux. She still pukes but not as much as before. And I think its the whole meal sometimes when its really just a few teaspoons.
