    Whatever My precious boob juice

    Advertisements
Do you what makes me the most angry and sick about having this surgery.(Had it today) Dumping 8 oz of my hard produced boob juice down the drain I am going to hopefully start nursing again early morning, I switched my pain meds to Motrin so that I wouldnt have the Tylenol 3 in my system but man. I have dumped 16 oz down the drain in just two pumpings. I know I need to pump more because I dont want to mess up my supply!!

I just replied to your other post not realizing it was old.

What I had said was you should be able to get painkillers that you can take while breastfeeding. I had them with my surgery.
    Needs work.

They gave me Tylenol 3 and my doc said it was ok with breastfeeding and the pharmacist said that he would wait 6 hours. So I switched to Motrin and so far its working fine so I think I am going to keep with that unless I cant take the pain. I am not in a whole heck of a lot of pain at this point except when I hear DH dumping the milk down the drain...which I make him do because I cant do it

Tylenol3 should be fine to breastfeed on I mean I breast fed Jacob after the c-section and I was taking percocet.

They said it was ok so I think I am going to go back to that at least for tonight because my tummy is sore. But the surgery went well, it wasnt to bad. The most pain I had was in my back under my shoulder blade from them seperating the gall bladder from what it was attached to and I keep getting hiccups from the gas they put in you to inflate your belly.
