    Getting used to the sling

I know some babies just don't like slings. Soo can you just put them in there like right away to get them used to it or what would you recommend?

I started putting Sy in the sling at 2 weeks old when we went to the air show. And then just put him in it every chance I got. He loved it from the begining so thankfully there no problems with it.

Hope it goes smoothly for you.

most babies don't like the cradle position especially if they get gassy easily. i would recommend something that they can go semi-upright in to get them comfy. dd loved the moby in the upright carrier (cradle hold) because she could snuggle in and not get gas pressure. just keep trying. tips though: 1. try them out when they aren't upset, make sure he or she is content and happy then put them in the sling. 2. start walking around as soon as you get him or her in the sling and pointing stuff out or go for a walk outside

For the first 6 months I like a wrap vs a sling because my little one did not like being in the sling position until he was older he liked having his tummy to my chest.

Yup, you can start putting them in the sling right away... When you position them though, you can adjust them so that their little head is right under your shoulder... All my babies loved that because it does make them feel like they are in utero because they can hear your heart beat... Very soothing!

Thank you, BrentsCrystal! You are amazing!

Thats what I have too. I'm not interested in wraps so hopefully the slings work out.
