For awhile I used the covers with prefolds (not the liners they come with).

They are great if you are traveling and don't want to take cds.

we will probably use those only for traveling. the inserts add up and are more expensive than disposable diapers from what i hear.

yeah they are a bit pricey, more than disposable, so it kind of cancels out the money saving aspect of cloth diapering. but the whole flushable thing is apealing to me. and they are really really cute.

You can get flushable liners for cloth diapers. That way you just flush the liner with the poo and wash the dipe. You still have to wash to the diaper but you won't have to deal with swishing poo in the toilet or using a diaper sprayer.

I liked the covers I HATED the liners. They bunched and so any poop messes got into the snap in and the snap in section stains like a mofo. The covers are great though you can use them with prefolds. I have a bunch of the covers, snap in liners, and disposable liners to sell if I ever get around to it.

oh and you only have to dunk/spray poopy diapers if your child is NOT breastfed. dd is exclusively breastfed and i just dump the diapers in the wash and voila no problems
