    how long--hormone related

    Advertisements
did it take for you to feel like yourself again? in other words how long before you stopped feeling like a nutcase because of your hormones.

i know it's just 2 weeks 2 days since i had her but i am already tired of crying over little things for no reason--i cried watching House the other day. i'm tired of feeling frustrated and angry for no reason--sometimes at dd especially when she's crying a ton and i can't comfort her, etc. i feel crazy because dh tries to understand but he just can't because he doesn't know what an emotional rollercoaster i'm on

i still do that... ellie is 4+ months old

i think once you have kids, you're more empathetic/emotional anyway...and at least for the first year or so, have extra hormones. figure - it takes 10 months to create/grow a baby, it will take at least that, usually more, to reclaim your emotional stability/self

It can take a long time up too a year for everything to get back to normal. It sounds like a tad bit of the baby blues.
