I tried it once but it always seemed like too much material between the baby's legs. I'm not sure he really liked it!

I will keep toying with it. I tried to put her feet out the bottom with a square knot under her bum, but it didn't work. She is getting to the point where she does not want to be facing me.

When I did it I knotted it across his back because he didn't feel very secure when it was under the bum. He is almost 16 months old now and still loves to be facing me. I "wore" him to church today

I always wear my dd to church and everyone looks at me like I am a hippie. I am the only one in the entire place that AP's.

There is a new carrier similar to a MT called a Pikolo (sp?) that gathers in the crotch area for front facing carries. They look really neat and are nicely made but I think I remember a hefty price tag too !

Twist the bottom before bringing it up and you can wear facing out.
